Craft over scale.
Bigger isn't the brief. Better is. We'd rather do 30 events a year extraordinarily than 100 acceptably.
We are a working studio in Wattala — quiet from the street, busier than it ought to be. The country's largest fairs, weddings, and trade expos are produced here, the same way they have been since MMVIII.
Heavenly Events began in 2008 with a simple discontent — Sri Lanka deserved events that felt as meticulously composed as the world's best. Not bigger, not louder. Better.
We started with a single wedding show in Colombo and a promise — every detail would be intentional, every guest would feel held, and every brand we worked with would leave with a story worth telling. Eighteen years later, that promise is still the only brief we operate to.
Today the studio runs national exhibitions, education fairs, trade expos, lifestyle shows and bespoke private events across the island. We've welcomed prime ministers, heads of state, royalty and diaspora alike — and the team that opens the doors is the same team that locks them at the end of the night.
We don't outsource the things that matter. We build the floor plan. We light the room. We brief the host. We sit with the client at 2am the night before and walk every metre. It's old-fashioned. It's also the reason eighteen years on, partners still call us first.
A living timeline. The chapters that shaped the studio you see today.
We open with one show, one belief — Sri Lanka's wedding industry deserves a runway as serious as Milan. The first edition sells out.
Three years in, the country's premier couples plan their weddings around our calendar. Vendors line up to be on the floor.
We take the model to Galle, Kurunegala, and beyond — connecting Sri Lankan students with universities across four continents.
The Furniture & Interior Expo and Home Construction Show launch — proving the model works for B2B as well as lifestyle.
We bring registration, badging, lead capture and analytics in-house. Every event we run is now measurable to the visitor.
When venues went dark, we built virtual exhibition halls and hybrid stages. Not a single anchor partner left the studio.
New verticals for a changing Sri Lanka — energy independence, wellbeing, longevity. The audience grows with the country.
Eighteen years in, we're still asking the same question we asked on day one — what would make this unforgettable?
Bigger isn't the brief. Better is. We'd rather do 30 events a year extraordinarily than 100 acceptably.
Every relationship — sponsor, vendor, venue, client — is built on a handshake first. The paperwork follows the relationship.
Whatever the budget, whatever the scale — when guests step into the room, it should feel like it could not have been any other way.
Every event is a chance to put a Sri Lankan vendor, supplier, or artist on a bigger stage. We measure success by what we lift around us.
A small senior team that has been running events together — in some pairings — for over a decade.

Books & SettlementBuilds the platforms behind every show — registration, badging, lead capture, post-event analytics. The reason every event is measurable.
Platforms & AnalyticsTell us what you're planning — a flagship exhibition, a private celebration, a brand launch, or something the country has never seen before. We'll take it from there.
